Joolz
then please remember to give them a proper title ( a description maybe too if you are feeling generous ) in the boxes provided rather than just leaving it as the default name your camera or phone give it! It only takes a couple of seconds more of your time and it means the image will be searchable which helps everybody Not naming your images probably means that they won't be considered for competitions such as Cream of the Crop because we need to know what they are off, which is a shame as there are some great photos being uploaded which have names like DSCI0319188.jpg or img1, img2 etc etc If you have already uploaded a load of images with such names then we'd be eternally greatfull if you would take some time to rename them when you get a few spare moments many thanks

CK.
I do it habitually now but I'm a bit gutted about having to type the whole name in everytime now with the new update, ya know when you type 1 or 2 letters and the plant title is saved from last time. Nitpicking I know but it does my box in
KingBlueRizla
I just rename the files before uploading, then they automatically have the same title. I don't bother with a description, as it is explained it the title. I assume that's OK...

madgiz
BUMP Just to remind members that if they don't name their pics and we don't know what they are then they don't stand a chance of getting nominated for cream of the Crop as there was at least 3 members this month that would have got in if their pics weren't named 'DSC/IMG12345' or similar..
Hazeworks
ahh did not know there was a post already, in the few months i have been a member on here, i find it very annoying looking at awesome pics of weed , and then not having a clue what it is because people are to lazy to spend 3 secs typing it in
Arnold Layne
Sorry, only just seen this. I have no interest in cream of the crop or any other competition, so do I still need to re-name some ten to twelve years' worth of photos?
Hazeworks
from my point of view u r missing the point i dont want to know what they are called so you can win a competition, i want to know what they are so i can look into them and maybe grow them!!
KingBlueRizla
@@Arnold Layne Bit too much work there, perhaps just rename the ones you upload in future? Just select them all and rename them "Blues Day X" on your computer, then they will have the right names when you upload them.
