pier09
Afew days later, still grey skies, no sun, they languish but still put on some growth. The StarRyder is definitely ahead, the Frisian comes last, the tundra and Think different in between. First a group shot: Than the runt (FD): The runners up: And the definitive champ: URL=https://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&img=159173][/url] Thats all for today. Next week I'll germ the second tier of this year's DP auto's, hopefully getting a better weather

pier09
So, after a month and a couple days, pistils at last. Lack of sun but they still trudge on...hoping for better weather... I still give them biobizz grow 5ml/l. every watering The frisian dew is a bit late, the only one. Today, i just put two more beans in the earth, one StarRyder and a second Frisian, direct in final pots 8,5l. We'll see what happens. Hopefully more sun.

pier09
Thanks, Tony. It will indeed be interesting to compare the different stages of a staggered grow. So much depending on weather... I am praying for clemency of the skies...Shiv Shambu

pier09
Thanks for the comment, Silvester. Today some sun at last. I get all my pots out. The Frisian, who was a bit late, is now stretching madly and nearly overtaking the others. But she and the Think diff. have too long internodal spaces due to poor weather. I put in the earth two new seeds, a Frisian and a StarRyder. After 3 days the SR just showed its head, heady times!! the Frisian must be just around the corner. :trumpet: Pics in a while
sqjam
weather in EU is just horrible IMO. Last year this time we (central EU) had temperatures around 25+ degrees Celsius. And now, almost June already we have around 16. Sucks balls! Edited May 27, 2013 by sqjam
Guest Soberman
Hey nice grow very similar to my style ! Will keep an eye on this grow, all the best and looking nice so far. I have been with you following the weather daily since 10 April. As you know I have had a problem or 2 recently.
pier09
I know, sqjam, it's scarcely better in Switzerland. Worry, worry. But I think the sun will come back with a vengeance, lets hope so anyway. Whithout hope, what are we?? Thanks, Soberman -aptly named-you are welcome
pier09
So, being of an optimistic nature, I opened the (limited) second tier of this DP autos 2013 by putting a couple seeds in the earth a few days earlier :trumpet: Lo and Witness! first the StarRyder pointed its head yesterday brave and willing to plunge into this world. So a couple of pics: Later in the day:
pier09
The next day (today) came the turn of my Frisian Dew, timidly pointing to the sky. I put only two seeds this time because I have a space problem having to bring all the pots Inside for the night. couple of pics: And the StarRyder, full of viguour on its second day: On this high note I think it will be all for today
pier09
a day later, the frisian a bit more presentable, opened to the world, growing, growing, just a couple of pics. I love taking macro of these just germed babies. All for today...
pier09
My first batch have reach 42 days. Lack of sun, they have a tendency to grow thin, internodal space a bit too long, except the StarRyder which is quite squat and further along then the other, more buds but shorter. I still give them only 3ml/l. grow, watering every 3-4 days. First a pic of the SR: Than a shot of its pistils: Now the Frisian: And the Think different, double shot: And, last, the Tundra: OK, enough for today
