fuck sake i dont even know how to start this...

i really dont have any excuse, can just say that life doesnt always progress in a liniar fasion...

The plants are still alive and doing well, very well infact considering what they had to put up with, i had to put them in a 1m x 1m growtent, and since its the first time i grow in a tent and not in a entire room i made a few fuckups, and the heat buildup in these small tents are just insane, so i can say for sure that Freddy´s best is very heat tolerant.

Another problem with these small tents is that you cant really get to the plants, so they have recieved far less attention than i would normaly give my plants, if some of them had made some bananas i would have no idea about it untill i harvested the buds, so im very happy that freddy´s best seems to almost grow itself, hardly needs any nutes either

they where vegged for far too long, i had to leave them in the care of someone else, and since he got no clue how to grow i thought it safest to just let them stay in vegetative while he was tending them, once i got them back i cut them down in order to get them to branch out more, but again they where left a bit too long, so i made it into some sort of primitive scrog which turned out very succesfull, its my first atemp at scroging but it will not be my last, that shit is just brilliant, especialy with sativas

anyways i took some pictures, its very hard to get to take pictures of them, because of the small space i had to hang everything from the ceiling, so i got fans and shit hanging infront of where the zipper is, but although this didnt turn out to be the grow diary intented i will still try and give a bit back to tony and the nice ppl from dutch passion, but the good pictures whont be coming till i start cutting them down. which will be soon, i think the first might be coming down this weekend, but on to the porn, and i do apoligise for the quality, its impossible to take any decent photos

they look very hazyish, and i think some of them might go for another month, but the smell is sooo sickly sweet i cant wait to taste them, and if they are just half as good as they look and smell i will be very happy :)

and the pictures really arent doing them any justice

and thank you Arnold, rules are not part of my vocabulary :P

i harvested a bud that seemed almost ready a little week ago, and its almost dried now, so a short smoke report will be incoming soon, but will just be a small teaser untill i have tested all of them poperly ;)

anyways here is a pic of that one bud (just wish i had a better cam for closeups)

it sure is sticky i will give you that, and its actually finished after 8.5 weeks like the add claims, but, im halfway thru harvest and im finding a shitload of tiny immature seeds, so someone made bananas, not sure if its just one plant or more than one, but because of the high heat at some points during the grow i cant say for sure if its the heat or the genetics, but judging from the size of the seeds it happend rather late into flower and there was no heat issue then...

i have smoked all of the above pictured bud and its deffo sativa, but on the milder end of the scale, nice for daytime if you need to do something and dont want to feel too stoned/high, but i am really wondering what was the idea of this strain? i have grown the chocolope and it was more potent, tastet better and yielded better, and had no tiny seeds, so i am a bit confused what the aim here was, but ofcourse i hope i will be raving about this strain in another week when the best pheno is dry and rdy to be smoke tested, but so far it only gets 3 out of 6 stars (if i only compare it to other dutch strains it would sneak up to a 5 out of 6)

but this is only a prelim review and i do admit that they wherent grown to absolute perfection, and i am for sure seing some potential in it, but like 99% of all strains it seems to be a pheno hunt. im not disapointed, but im not satisfied either.

i got one plant looking far better than the others and one still not finished, i hope one of those 2 will show me why you decided to create and market this strain

and i hope my honesty is okay, and i will still update as i smoke more of it, maybe i also just need to get used to almost pure sativas again after smoking alot of american mostly indica strains

just a small update...

when i was trimming i accidently chopped off a small bud from a different plant than the one i have already tested, just enough for 1 joint, i am now 2/3 through that joint and there is much more kick in this one, its still rather fresh so wont comment on the taste, but this makes me alot more hopefull about the rest, just seemed the first one i tested might have been the worst of the 5 plants

more to come in the following days :)
