Evertondave
Great start wotnwhy, I love the mini scrog cages you've built, I've often considered a similar plan for my tent, although I was thinking of putting the wooden batons inside a square pot so they aren't vertical, but get wider as they get higher, so that you could fit 6 plants in a 60 x 60cm space, each with it's own 10 x 10cm scrog "window", if you see what I mean. I hope it works out well for you
wotnwhy
beanpopper Thankyou! Lets hope I can keep it up (the good start, that is)! se7en Good to see you in here! Don't think you'll learn much though.. Sweet Seeds So far so good! Thanks for popping in. Evertondave Good to see you here! Hopefully it'll work out as well in real life as it has in my head! wotnwhy
So lets see how we've been getting on Cream Caramel Day THRITEEN Day SEVENTEEN Day NINETEEN She's got over her initial 'thirst' which turned out to be poor potting on my part where most of the water was just running through the soil. Since sorting this she has perked up and is as tall as SAD, but not as wide. Edited November 5, 2011 by wotnwhy
wotnwhy
Sweet Afghan Delicious Day THIRTEEN Day SEVENTEEN Day NINETEEN Stong and steady progress from Ms.SAD, little spot on one leaf where it was touching the side of the 'drobe. Other than that, all things are goooood! Temps are now dropping at night, with 17c being the lowest it's got... The light is off at night, going to attack the 'drobe with Polyfilla soon I think. Get it lightproofed so a I can have the light on in the night. Not sure when I'll get the chance, but you'll see once I've done it! So, until next time.. peas/OUT!

wotnwhy
reg llama Good to see you again May be a while before I start the next upgrade. But glad your liking the time-lapse style! Azzazal Thankyou! Hope they continue with the vigour they currently have! Right, lots been going on this week (both in and out of the 'drobe) so lets have a look eh? Cream Caramel Day TWENTY Day TWENTY ONE Day TWENTY TWO So at this stage the Cream Caramel is just starting to poke through the screen. Unfortunately, the next few days have no photo's as I caught my (now ex) girlfriend cheating on me.. The plants were ignored for a few days... When I came back to them they were ready for some training round the nets. I took lots of photo's, but my head was still a mess when editing the photo's and I accidently deleted them all... So anyway, skip forward a few days and here we have the start of SCroGging! Day TWENTY FIVE Day TWENTY SIX After the break we'll catch up with the Sweet Afghan Delicious Edited November 13, 2011 by wotnwhy
wotnwhy
Welcome back Without further achoo: Sweet Afghan Delicious Day TWENTY Day TWENTY ONE Day TWENTY TWO As you can see, by this stage the SAD is just a tiny bit behind the Cream Caramel height wise, but has a lot more branching. Day TWENTY FIVE Day TWENTY SIX So thats everything up to date, today the plants had their underside trim. So stay tuned and see you after the break
wotnwhy
Cream Caramel The trim! Day TWENTY SEVEN First a look at her out of the 'drobe. Already these SCroG boxes have made things much easier. Don't think I'd have fancied trying to SCroG the conventional way, getting around the plant for trimming would have been a nightmare! So here she is before my frenzied attack with the scissors And after Sweet Afghan Delicious The trim! Day TWENTY SEVEN Things are getting exciting now! But this is all I have... So until next time: peas/OUT!

wotnwhy
ScumbagGardens Thankyou so much! I dread to think of the fuss and hassle involved in doing them all in one net! Now lets see how we've been getting on Cream Caramel DayTWENTY NINE DayTHIRTY TWO DayTHIRTY SEVEN Here's how she stands after what I plan to be her final trim'n'tuc Starting to flower now and smelling sweet! wotnwhy
Sweet Afghan Delicious DayTWENTY NINE DayTHIRTY TWO DayTHIRTY SEVEN Compared to the Cream Caramel, the SAD's stem are extremely flexible and a breeze to work with. The flowers are coming on much stronger with the SAD, and a very unique smell. Temperatures have been dropping to 17 at night, but the plants seem to be handling it fine so I'm not too worried at the moment Humidity steady between 37 and 68% so very pleased with how things are ticking along at the moment! Thats it for now, so until next time.. peas/OUT!
