Arnold Layne
Its a lot more than Firefox Its a whole new Operating System. Its another version (Debian?) of Linux, very very swish and smooth. You can load it as a dual-boot system, but I've not had any Windows on my laptop in a year or more now, just Linux. If you're new to Linux, take care but have fun. Life's so much more fun over here on the Linux side, and all our (very powerful) software is FREE! And that includes Gimp, every bit the equal of Photoshop IMO, but I'm not a high-end user, just an amateur photo-freak. Bit it really is awesomely good, and at a price tag of (did I mention this) £00.00, its good value. Its free, in fact. Appeals to the Yorkshireman in me, does that! Tasty
I've just looked at downloading Debian and fell at the first hurdle. It asks to choose your processor architecture, where do I look to get that information?
