Arnold Layne
Just germinated a new Legend's Ultimate Indica. It took three days to break soil, and required some minor surgical assistance to shed the inner skin; having delicately freed things up I am rewarded with two perfect sets of Cotyledons rather than the usual one. Is this a bonus? Or is it a sign of genetic malfunction? Germinated in Bio Bizz "All-Mix".
oldtimer1
Arnie as long as it still has a growing point it will not matter. Over the years I've had all sorts 3 and 4 cotyledons some that had two pairs and came up with 2 shoots like a double yoked egg sprouting from one set of roots. Had plants with whorled phyllotaxy several of which had 3 leaves per node and once a 4 leaves per node type. Unusual yes but part of what you find. Arnold Layne
Thanks OT1. Yes, I've had all sorts but never a "double-yoker", quite pleased with it! Certainly looks damned healthy so far!
