MigrowGardener
hi i am using 1red 1 blue evirolight and wanted to know if it is a good idear to use both for all stages or should i just use the blue then the red was thinking both coz outdoors they recive both off the sun The Sun is tinted more towards the blue end of the spectrum in the early months, hence blue for veg, and more to the red end of the spectrum as the days start to grow shorter again, hence red for flowering. As far as I am aware blue promotes more luscious growth and red promotes stretching in the early sages of a grow. Im going to be using a blue 125w envirolight alone for the veg stage. I need to keep the plants short because of height restrictions so ill be topping too. When it comes to flowering Ill be supplementing the veg light with 108w of red cfls. I would reccomend using both in the flowering stage because more light = more bud. I've not even started my first grow yet I'm onlya few days away It's amazing what you cn learn if you spend an hour or so a day reading these boards for a while. Good Luck
