twigs
eeerm...it might be something to do with where your clicking on the circle, the size of text... erm..when you hover over the circle with the text tool is there a little diagonal line that apears? so it does'nt look like this.. twigs
arhh i see once you've made your circle type your text and choose the move tool (black arrow top right tool box) then press 'Ctrl and hit T' on the keyboard then right click in the middle of the box that appears and choose 'flip vertical' and press return think that does it.. twigs
also you might have to raterize the type by going to.. layer..rasterise..type..and that gets rid of the circle under the type but only do that once you've finished your artwork..

twigs
need beer now!.... have you try'd getting the text to the top of the circle before doing the 'Ctrl + T' right click 'flip vertical' like this what photoshop are you useing?..i don't know why but i have to hit return to get mine to flip.. plus the circle goes away when you click on another layer..which is good cause it keeps it as a working path still so you can edit..
