chez
I am halfway through constructing my growroom. I am about to install the ducting. I will have my carbon filter in the top left back corner of the room and my intake will be ducting coming through the ceiling and down to the bottom right front corner of the room. What I want to know is whether I should just have the ducting with some tights over the end (to stop anything getting into the room from outside) or whether I will need something on the end of the ducting to reduce noise/spread the intake air?? Any help appreciated. Chez
TrichomeUK
No chez, because you will increase wear on the fan and decrease performance. The best solution is to use about a metre of sonoduct acoustic ducting either side of fan, if not using a carbon filter, and around a metre on the exhaust if using a carbon filter. chez
So I will be OK with just the intake duct low down in the room?
