mr-nice
hi guys, don't know if this is the right board to post this on but here goes, i have acquired an ecotechnics electronic interval timer which i am going to use in conjunction with a growth gas generator, my problem is that i am not sure how the timer works (no instructions) has anybody used one of these ecotechnics timers? on one side there is a "on" list from 1-16 mins, on the other side an "off" list of 0.25-4 hrs, now above each list there is a little dial with numbers 0-9 and letters a-f around each dial, so my question is how does the dial relate to the list?, so if the dials are set to 0 and 0 does that mean the timer will be on for 1min then off for 15mins?, or if the dials are set to f and f it will be on for 16mins and off for 4hrs. sorry for being a bit thick but i want to make sure i am using it correctly, don't want to poison me girls! also any other advice about the two items mentioned would be most appreciated cheers guys, tony Edited November 10, 2005 by mr-nice
Bish
Best thing to do, is mess around with it when plugged into a lamp or something similar first
mr-nice
thanks for the reponse, yeh, i would of tryed it on a lamp or something but you can't plug a normal 3 pin uk plug into it, it takes a 3 pin IEC plug (like a kettle lead), and the only thing i have with that sort of plug is the gas generator, anybody got one, i think they are quite common Bish: Quote from ad - "Supplied with instructions for use."I suggest you get on to them & ask for the instructions mate.
