Twisted Rizla
Hi all I've got a couple fo Early Girls in my heated greenhouse and have a couple of questions if you don't mind: Surely most people would have harvested their outdoor grows by now but mine, although seeming to be growing very slowly, still look some way from being ready. I'm basing my assumption on having read somewhere that 80% of the hairs should have turned brown before you harvest. I would say that 20% of the hairs are brown but it still looks like the flowers are growing because it keeps getting whiter - albeit at quite a slow rate. Is the 80% rule intended for Indica AND Sativa strains or just Indica? Oddly enough the Strain Base says they are American derived Indica but my plants are definately Sativa. I bought the seeds from Growi Seeds in Amsterdam so the source was reliable enough.
Bish
Pistilate colouration is a very rough guide mate. The only sure fire way to tell is by looking at the trichs colour. Have a read of this thread.
