leszek91
Hi has anybody ever used potsil, potassium silicate? Found some for 5 quid at 150ml which is cheap it's over 24% Si and 32% P, seems good stuff whilst fruiting. Made in UK
inceywinceyspider
I've used it, its highly alkaline. I used it in veg as a spray. I wouldn't use it in flower as the silicate is not good then. The high potassium content can throw things out if you over apply it.
leszek91
I don't think I've ever came across silicate that's not alkaline, most SI products on market are potassium silicates but more diluted than this one I'm talking about and more pricey. I'm not spraying flowers, adding it to a feed at low doses atm hence it's more beneficial at this stage because after dissolved gives more K. I were looking for something similar to US Agsil 16 H which is powder potassium silicate but can't find any in UK yet. Regarding silica during flower, you can use it it's beneficial. Edited April 23 by leszek91 Potassium is K 🤣
