Sup People! 

 

This will be my first diary on this forum. Just ordered the seeds and plot is nearly there just need cages and some added nutes. 

 

In the mix we will have:

 

OPG S1

Zkittzo

Fast Orange Cake

& Possibly OPGxzoap

 

Each hole will get 60l of grow medium based on westland multi compost mixed with native soil. Nutes: FBB, Seaweed, All purpose Organic, Perlite, Myco Fungi & water gel crystals.

Have you used the water gel crystals in the past? notice any difference?

Thanks. In terms of perlite I just add it as its supposedly good and aerates the soil right? no idea if it actually does but I have had good results with this mix recently. couple litres per hole wont hurt I guess

Yes mate, 2 seasons ago (last season I was away and didn't grow). First of all, the plants never looked firsty, no drooping at all all season even in drought times. No watering trips at all. I recommend Westland Container compost as it already has gel crystals in it.

Mush better with crystals, keeps the soil damp. Watering runs without... try it you'll see... I'm defo having better results with the crystals but that's only based on 1 season using them...
