Nutrient Q

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm currently using the Ionic Nutrient range and my plants are coming up to 3 weeks in flower.

At the moment I'm using:

                                           Cal+Mag

                                           Ionic Bloom

                                           Super Drive

                                           Green Fuse Bloom "weekly"

I'm going to start and add PK Boost. My question is; do I add the PK Boost after I've added the Cal+Mag and then my base nutrient

and bring the ppm up to level then add the supplements. I'm only giving the PK the the back 2 plants......Growing in coco. tia

i just use ionic bloom and cal mag, you don't need the other stuff mate

if you do use pk, be very sparing, it will burn the shit out of your plants if you are not careful

Additives in the tank first, measure ec, add base nutrient until you reach desired EC.

Also, very few people actually need calmag, no ones needs a PK.

I guess I got caught in the nute trap by buying stuff I didn't need. Will definitely not be using PK again or the other bumf. I'll be using the same as ratdog.

it's worth looking at your water makeup, getting it tested is a good idea. i use cal mag because mine is so soft

you could probably get away with just measuring the ec at the tap, mine is between .1-.2

@MrG. Don't complicate it like most do - use the cal mag to "buffer" your water to around 0.4 and then just add the nutrients ontop and you shouldn't have much if any issue.
