Twiki
Evening all, Just wondering what other people's methods are for potting up seeds in clay balls. I germinate in root riots that are in a 3"basket with clay balls to fill. On about 3/4 week mark I add the whole thing to 11tr clay ball filled in a wilma system. Just curious to hear what others do. This has always worked for me, but I would be open to changing if anyone sees fault in it or knows of better ways? Thanks as always... badbillybob
i take them out of the starter pot, put in bigger pot, cover plant with my hand, holding stem, and pour clay balls in.
Goodbloke
My method isn't popular, due to using rockwool starter & follow on cubes. As long as you're careful with the watering in the rockwool & the 1st week after inserting into the clay, it's all good.
