In my opinion "both" is the answer to the question.

 

HID Vs LED

why no both....at least and specifically for winter?

Could I do this reflection?

HPS 150W bulb =

100W light

50w heat

+ 25-35W ballast

 

LED 250W

190W light (?)

50w heat (?)

10w ballast(?)

 

Let's assume I would like to stay around 250W tot light ( ex.ballast)

So 150W HPS + 100W LED (or 40% dimmed 250w LED).

The HPS will help creating some canopy heat and still proving light for 60x60cm (?...more 40x40 probably) and the other light other 60x60 but LED.

 

Anyone is currently doing something similar?

I am very interested in your opinion
