What would be the best soil mix to use for photos and would it be beneficial putting them in pots or to just stick with the ground.

can anyone recommend some good seeds for a high yield. Thanks

Clover Compost gets good reviews.

Using this myself and doing okay.

Not too expensive either.

Find it on Samazon at the mo' for 11.50 - 60L

There's tonnes of High Yield strains out there bro.
White Rhino
Black Widow or White Widow
Big Bud
BB x WW
Power Plant
Critical
Skunk XL
Anything with XL XXL in the name...
Could go on forever fella.
Have a look on Attitude Seed Bank for anything with 600g/m² plus and you are good to go.

My Blue Dream was big and is the best thing I've smoked so far - in 40+ years!
I'd rather have a small amount of that, than a Big, Big Bud for example!
Don't worry about size/grams fella.
I rather grow strains that taste and smell super with effects I like,
than any of the High Yield strains as they are... erm, Shit! In comparison.
Just my option though. We are all different, as ya know. But as I said...

All of the following have great reviews and I would rather grow any one of these than a HY strain:
Blue Dream
Cream Caramel
Romberry
Bubble Gum
Blueberry
Sweet Zombie
Red Hot Cookies
Super Silver Haze
Super Lemon Haze
Eleven Roses
Aurora Indica
Shiva Skunk
Sensi Star
To name a few.

Much Love...

Ideally you want to find some nice loamy soil that you can dig up with your hands. Less work amending the better. Go straight in the ground or you’ll have a lot of work watering in the dry periods.

Most of those strains above won’t finish in the UK unfortunately. What lat are you at? Fast Lemon Cake from Real Gorilla was probably my best all round performer from last year. You won’t go wrong with a couple packs of those. Always nice to have a few ‘wild cards’ to put out as a test for the following season though, you never know you might find something special.

I 2nd @Aphatspliff and @Ch@ppers on the “fast lemon cake” from rgsc solid strain, solid breeding and she is a decent grow herself strain who is next to bulletproof 💯

lovely smoke aswell!!

also loamy soil of the bat is perfect, can take some looking but a good site is worth its weight in gold when it comes to the full season and less headaches

I am putting a cream caramel fv outside this season as “a wildcard” and to try make a nice hack or start to breed something special from her alongside “gg1” and “rene x gg1”

hope you have an amazing 2024

big love

Yeah, sorry.

As Aphatspliff said above.

Don't know how I ended up in the Guerrilla Growing section.

I was in another thread and some how ended up here.

Still don't fully understand how.

Again, sorry...

Hello PHatDriver

If you dont mind me asking, what brand was the Blue Dream from attitude please?

I also like this strain, but yours sounds even tastier so I may try that one.

Always good to hear a recommendation from experience.

The one i had a short experience with had a very spicy aroma right in the bag and a very nice happy high.

Thanks X

My Blue Dream was a FREEBIE Auto brother, Bluedream'matic - Fastbuds.

Think they changed the name to just Blue Dream Auto now.

So nice I actually bought a pack, and I already have enough seeds.

Being an auto might work for you outdoors too.

Humboldt FEMs seem to get good reviews but not sure about outside.

Haze & Blueberry ya know.

Was in the top 10 best strains last year. Number 1 in a lot of places.

But as @Aphatspliff, @Ch@ppers,  and @Stigofthedank said up the page:

Fast Lemon Cake by Real Gorilla Seeds gotta be worth a punt.

Real Gorilla are trust worthy and a site fav breader.

They are also outside growers (unlike myself), so better off listening to them.

Multipurpose compost + FBB, Chicken manure pellets and bonemeal. Let it cook for 3 months then add Epsom Salts and Wood Ash (crush up chunks of charcoal that may be in the ash)

Last time I used this recipe was with a photoperiod in an 80l pot. Saw the first yellow leaf in September !

as for a high yielding strain, any photoperiod can give you ounces and ounces if you give it a big enough pot!
