For anyone whos water comes from the chalk aquifers in kent

Calcium        113.2
Magnesium   2
Sulphate        1
Alkalinity      298.9
pH                 7.20

This is a very hard water with high levels of Calcium and Alkalinity but low Magnesium and Sulphate, with a pH in the expected range.

This water is very imbalanced with respect to Calcium and Magnesium, due to this even with a hard water food there will be an issue with the Ca:Mg ratio leading to possible growing problems.
There are 2 options to grow in this water, you could add extra Magnesium if you choose this method let us know which feed you will be using (Coco, Hydro or soil) and we will calculate how much you need to add.
The second option is to order a custom feed from us, this is formulated to work with your water so in your case will have less Calcium and more Magnesium in it. A custom feed costs £10 per set on top of the normal price.

The high Alkalinity is not such an issue and can be dealt  with by pH adjustment after mixing.

^This. Just add Epsom salts.

If you get a custom feed with extra mag in it already you'll only be giving your plants enough mag if you feed at full strength. And it's a very expensive way to buy Epsom salts.

You could make the feed yourself using either masterblend/kristalon brown with calcinit and addional epsom salts to your requirements for a fraction of the cost
