green beanz
As the title says really where do I place the fish tank heater on alien pro system It's freezing at the mo and I think I will struggle to hit 18-22c without a heater Do I place it in the 100l res or in the pot with no plant in it Can't seem to get my head round it last time I grew in just dwc I put heater directly in pots plants were in and the light on the heater caused my plants to herm so want to avoid that this time So where do I place the heater please

I'd be a bit concerned root temps in the pots, they could still be too low. Critical temps in the res summer and winter is one of the reasons I gave up DWC. green beanz
Thanks for the help Will also heat the tent with an oil filled radiator and see if that will help with over all temps
green beanz
I've got a choice of which RDWC system to go for The alien silver pro with 20l pots or the black series which is a lot lower spec but I could get it with 36l pots So what's more important higher specs or bigger pots ?
