He's a genius with regard to keeping himself relevant and profitable. The dude has been in the spotlight his entire career. Now he panders to an ageing audience with Martha Stewart alongside. You're mistaken if you think all the people shaking their ass to his music in the 90s aren't buying cookbooks and shit present day. We all get stuck in the genre we grew up in, to a degree. You could buy his CDs then, you can buy his scented candles, or whatever, now. Makes sense from his perspective, and it works. I'm not saying I give a shit about him and what he does, but you can't deny that he has successfully marketed himself across many different odd areas, with success. I mean, cookbooks, Bic lighters etc. What the fuck does any of that have to do with rap music? Nothing, but every gas station in the US has a rack of bic lighters for sale with Snoop and Martha Stewart on the box advertising them.
