catweazle1
Higher S generations zone in on the desired traits, but potentially at the cost of offspring vigour.

brock1
F1 hybrids are used to create hybrid vigour. It's a big old con in the cannabis game so don't be fooled by a label because nearly all cannabis is to close related to create any true F1 hybrids. These fools claiming this are only doing so based on commercial gain from crossing 2 inbreed lines to regain diversity vigour from poor inbreed lines. S5 by the way is to far the plants will of lost a lot of vigour from genetic bottleneck by then. Yes crossing it will increase vigour to the point the hybrid almost looks normal again. No thats not true hybrid vigour its a con. Even genuine F1 strock as 3+ phenos. In all honesty I find most commercial breeder's in this industry wich is now mostly legal globally are lacking & wouldn't keep up in terms of any other global seed industry as anything other than hobby breeder's with their knolage & the time they put into releasing now lines. It takes traditional plant breeder's. 3-4yr to create most new varieties were cannabis breeder's can make 50 new hybrids a year and charge a lot more.
