Hi everyone,

Whats the opinion in 2023 about the best organic feed, biobizz or PM oldtimer? Im torn between the 2, i want to go PM but keep reading bad reviews about it being reformulated, my heart says mix and match the 2 as bio silicon is great and fishmix is in high regard, but my OCD os saying stick to the same range, help a man out with your pearls of wisdom please.

No pearls here, but I use BAC organic. Feel like a bloody rep now, I just only really see PM/bio bizz mentioned on here. Smashes out stellar bud with just grow/bloom:yinyang: plenty of extras you can use, but no need

I can only promote my sponsors... biotab.

They make growing so much easier and more fun, no EC measurements, no PH checking.

Remember don't panic its organic

I have used both and not noticed much difference, the one thing I did with both was follow the schdule and switch to Bloom nutes as soon as I flipped to 12/12...this caused nitrogen deficiencies that I would be chasing for the rest of the grow. SOmeone told me to keep using the Grow/veg nutes for the first two weeks or until the stretch was over and I got better results then. Nothing to stop you using Fishmix and PM, lol. :)

I've used both, you won't go far wrong with BioBizz and IME you don't need to go over 2ml per litre during bloom. I only used the Fish Mix and Bloom this year and I'll happily use it again next year.

When I was growing indoors I did a few grows using the entire BioBizz range, including All-Mix, but I really don't believe all the extra feeds are worth it.

I was tempted by the BioTabs range and I did use their Guerrilla Tabs to start my plants off but the BioBizz was noticeably cheaper so I went with that. I had quite a long chat with the BioTabs rep at Spannabis and I am really impressed by their products but like I've already said, they're a little too expensive for me at the moment but I do want to use their products in the future.

Thanks gents nice to hear what you all use, do you get a decent dense bud when using organic? I know flavour is better but are the yeilds comparable to mineral?

I'm expecting around 500g per plant but I'm outdoors, but I do get nice dense nugs.

Just a thought on the biotabs. You could buy the ingredients listed in the biotabs recipe individually and find a balance yourself for a fraction of the cost.

Have a read of the Michigan State University paper - Fertilizers and nutrient management for hops. No buzz words or marketing bulls*t. Just the bare facts and very educational. Hops and Cannabis cultivation is "Almost" one and the same thing. Some variations in management techniques but they are very close. Japanese hop (Humulus Japonicas) cultivation is probably the closest to effective Cannabis cultivation

I'm basing next years growing medium blend on the information within the Michigan University paper.
