I've ordered a water test kit from growers ark but it hasn't arrived yet. My water authority website gives the following figures for my water: Ca 58.6 Mg 8.55 I've uploaded the rest of the figures. Going from ph and ec they aren't too far off. Can anyone tell me how much canna mg mono I should be adding for 3:1 ratio? I worked it out at 0.15ml/l but that sounds low? do the calcium levels look high enough to not need extra cal mag or would you balance to 3:1 and then supplement extra? I can't work out how to calculate it properly. Also ordered some epsom salts coming tomorrow to maybe try. catweazle1 Posted October 2, 2023 Share Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) If you have an ec meter, I would just add calmag to 0.4-0.5ec, then your nutes. You need about 150-180mg calcium and 50-60mg magnesium. Presoak coco in 1.5ish calmag overnight or about 6 hours. For treating mag deficiency only, to fine tune later in the grow, dissolve 250g of Epsom in 1L and add 1ml to each litre of nutes to add another 32mg or so of magnesium. Yesterday I added 0.15ml/l of mono mg and then topped up with 1ml/l of calmag. Things dont look much better but maybe not worse? Will probably dump the res tomorrow and try again with 1g/4.5l of epsom. I would try foliar but I run 24/0 schedule so is this a bad idea? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
