Axiom
@Slippy One I've thought about that a hundred times recently. Currently using RO water. It's amazing with organic nutrients and Seaweed compared to anything I've used in the past. (canna coco in hard water) I never did try the mag mono stuff as a supplement, but I never did like the idea of all that limescale in the water. Ultimately there will be evaporation in the root zone, especially when using fabric pots. That means that the calcium will precipitate out of the water and be less available for the plants. also, I find that I ended up using RO water for much more: - steamer - kettle - iron (even though I don't use it) - drinking - soaking nuts and seeds - diluting chemicals - diluting soap (no scum) - floor steam mop - foliar sprays - sodastream - mixing up screen wash for windscreen - cleaning windows probably many more I haven't thought of.
