Oakapple Posted July 20, 2023 Share Posted July 20, 2023 (edited) Welcome- I'm an oldie, too..but having a horrid blip in the road due to hermies. {Poss light leak} so scrapped the 'perpetual' 12/12 I had going. Needing to re-evaluate how I do things- especially given the rising cost of leccy. Had gone years without hermies, so it was a shock to see them. Probably my fault for not checking diligently because of never getting them in the past. Have had to clean everything down with bleach water to kill any potential stray pollen grains - but the back of the fan- just can't get into the back of that to clean it. Thinking of buying a new one, just in case. A lesson from the Universe, gave me a kick up the Rse. Urgh.
