Snapped my 2-3 day old seedling in half - HELP

Hi all,

 

So while giving my 2-3 day old seedling a misting with my spray bottle the plastic humidity dome fell onto one of my seedlings snapping it in half. The top half with the leaves was still just about attached so I managed to straighten her up and piled the soil around it to hold it up and protect it.

 

Has anyone ever done this and do you know if it's likely to survive or will it be terminal ?

You know you don't need to mist seedlings or keep them in a humidity dome. Cuttings need it as they don't have roots but seedlings do fine without as they have a tap root.

 

I doubt it will survive at this stage
