How to raise curing humidity in grovebags

Recommended Posts

It looks like i overdried my buds because of this hot weather last week..

It sits around 49% at moment in grovebag which is too low, how to raise it?

Boveda 62% packs or is there any other options??

I've seen someone mentioning salad leaves if i am right? (Cant find it anymore)

Thanks

I raised the humidity from 45 to 55%, in a jar of some over-dried bud, the other day

by putting a couple of wet paper towels in a small cup (so it doesn't wet/touch the bud) in the jar & sealed it for a day, maybe day + half

n the bud went from dry to feel-ably moist, nicer for the stage, so it can cure proper

Similar to @mysticriver but I stick a moist tissue to the inside of the jar lid and keep it in there for 6-12 hours at a time until the buds are at the right humidity.

Sounds like you dried your weed to the point it can no longer cure, below 55% and it permanently stops curing even if you rehydrate it after.

I always put boveda packs in mine for the first few days to a week if levels are low. Well until they are where I want them to be

I have had two of the my best grows taste and quality wise using this method (using a strain that I have been growing for about 1.5 years now), so I am sold on this method.

Grove bags are now non negotiable for me due to the ease of use, and no burping.

But,

and it’s a big but lol

Moisture content is not the same as Relative Humidity :)

Moisture content of buds is absolute,

whereas Humidity is relative :yep:
