I had a similar issue with an old type magnetic ballast. What I did was get a 1" thick square of foam rubber and put a piece of wood on top. I sat the ballast on that and the vibrations where subdued.

put one under the front wheels and one for the back ones, you can get anti vibration ones, if i remember right they are made from cork and rubber.

 

note this is something I've not tried myself and was mentioned as an idea for broader options:yep:

you could try putting a decent weight on the AC, dumbbell; 4 X 2L bottles filled n taped together etc, it might just hold it all tighter & stop the vibrations?

So much appreciated for the help everyone well am sleeping on the floor lol mattress with jigsaw mats underneath the ac unit has helped the vibration a lot thanks!
