Visitor on the tent

Noticed this guy chilling on the side of the homebox as I was closing it up after a watering. Not sure if it was already in there or flew in through the window.

Any ideas what it is and does it eat gnats? lol

It may also eat plants! Definitely flew in, get it out quick. Are your intakes filtered?

That looks hardcore AF lol

I nearly posted a film image from Predator for comparison.

Edit: Have you tried a bug identification app?

Yep all secured no worries.

Seems like its a Mallosia graeca, specific to this region of the world. Turns out it loves munching on grass so it was definitely after the grow lol

Glad I caught it when I did and didn't open the tent to it feasting on a bud all fat and stoned.

Looks like a red oak borer (Enaphalodes rufulus) either way it's a longhorn beetle.
