Woody/ thick/ hard matter when topping?

Wanted to top some plants that are too tall and too rigid to train into the scrog net any ideas?

can I cut multiple thick tops at once? 

will they recover the same , as quickly as if it were bendy smaller thinner stems?

Do you have a diary,

or even some photos of the plants in question?

 

Are you talking about photoperiod or auto?

Same here mate, i hear people mention this whole "They will need a week to recover" bounded around a lot, Most of the time i see an explosion of redirected growth in less than 24hrs.

My current grow i decided to top earlier than normal and then again for the second lot of toppings and both plants didn't mind and had them ready to flip at 4 weeks, i feel like i've been wasting time with all the extra vegging i've been doing in the past lol

 

It makes me wonder maybe it's down to technique:g:
