When looking at fans and they give the recommended CF to go with the fan what difference does it make if you dont go with the suggested CF length of 600mm and opt for a 300mm because the 600mm wouldnt fit the tent ? catweazle1 Posted May 20, 2023 Share Posted May 20, 2023 (edited) Go on the max air throughput of the filter. That's your important number to match up to the rest of the system. There are variables, like carbon thickness, they play around with, depending on the filter dimensions required.
