Openairbud Posted February 23, 2023 Share Posted February 23, 2023 I wasn't sure where to stick this one so I'll try here. It is a micro grow after all, I will be running at 102watts in flower. I'm growing Subbies listed as follows: 1x Kona Cookies by twigs 1xssh x blue digiberry by vicfirth12 1x no names x no names by highgrower And a single Dinafem Strawberry Amnesia. I've run this strain before and loved it, this is the only time I've run a strain more than once. I'm well into veg now, I didn't note when I started, but it was early Jan. All 4 regs have shown themselves to be female, which wasn't expected or planned for really, so I probably will get rid of the smaller of the 2 Nonames, much as it pains me to do so. I'll give them just a little more time in veg as I've nipped the top off the late show-ers. They are in 3 litre round pots, which I will be flowering them in, I've just got to wait for the no names to root it out (top left) then I'll flip to 12s. They have had one light feed of fishmix so far, other than that, plain water. You can tell the 2 slightly older plants, top left (SA) and bottom right (KC) as they've been topped earlier and are bushing nicely. Smells lovely already! I'll flicked to flower today, can't hold off any longer the Strawberry Amnesia is gonna get huge otherwise. Stretched alot the last time I grew it, and has that sort of vibe again! The No Names has just about rooted out, SSH x BD is good to go also. I've taken a few big fans off this one, to try and tempt a few more tops. Not a massive difference here compared to the last pic. Top left SA, top right NN, bottom left KC, bottom right SSH x BD. I want to take a cutting of these as it's my last seeds of the Kona and the Strawberry, can I leave the clones in flower cycle? Will they still root? If possible could you remove them at lights off, therefore extending their lights on time when you include maybe sitting under a table lamp that's on? Openairbud Posted March 6, 2023 Author Share Posted March 6, 2023 Thanks shumroom for contributing, I kind of forgot I asked, bloody stoner memory! I have had a re think, and I could maybe try a re veg, by the time these finish it should be warming up outside so I may pop them in my polytunnel and see what happens? Anyway it's been one week of flower, and there has been a small amount of stretch, I imagine this week there will be more as they really get into it. Not alot to see really, I will get some individual plant shots up when I do a lower trim on them all. Looking at it, the whole canopy has grown upwards around 2inches. All looking healthy enough, although if you look at the two left hand plants here, the upper small leaves are twisting around. I put a post up in the sick plants section but not had a response as yet. I'm not sure they are sick, more an over feed? Sensitivity to the light? Low temp problem? It has been getting down to 18c lights off.. Ah well, they seem happy enough, are drinking well and smell nice! The second No Names still lives, it's out the way in front of the filter and extraction fan. Openairbud Posted March 13, 2023 Author Share Posted March 13, 2023 2 weeks into flower now, they are starting to crown, and have grown upwards quite nicely, not too excessive, probably helped by the cold weather. I've only managed to get to 17c lights off last week, 24 lights on. Bit warmer now though.. Openairbud Posted March 22, 2023 Author Share Posted March 22, 2023 Here we are, day 23 of flower.. Stretch has all but finished now, so I've given them a trim and light defoliation. Got rid of some branches that were never going to amount to anything. Temps are now back in range, 21c lights off and 26 lights on. They have been telling me they are a bit hungry so I've been upping the feed, they are on 1ml of fishmix and 2ml of bloom feed, I will keep upping the bloom for the next few feeds and see how they react. They have been drinking almost 2litres a day between them. Ssh is the thirstiest, Kona takes her time a bit more. All good. Other than a few yellowing lowers all seems ok so far, that weird leaf twisting has gone. I've knocked the vaping on the head for a couple weeks, my chest has been getting tight, so I've been making some avb hot chocolate at nights.
