I use different size pots depending upon how many plants I’ll be putting in the space.

 

There’s 6 pots in here atm and they’re all 7.5l root pruning/air pots(not the ones you might be familiar with)

 

 

Perhaps if growing Cannabis was a more female dominated activity,

then ‘sweaty ballzack’ or ‘husbands farts’ or ‘moving onto solids’ might be more common names  

Hand watering for stealth,

can’t be having pumps switching on and off throughout the night.

Thanks @Shumroom.  7.5 litres, so my ridiculous 20 litre ones are probably not beneficial. Not seen that design of 'Airpot' before- the roots look very healthy.

 

'Zwetty Ballzakz'   - always got to  substitute the S's for Z's.  Maybe that is it- the cannabis 'Industry' is definitely geared towards men...Plus the seeds are mainly 'Fems' now, so a female name inspires confidence on a subliminal level.

 

Re stuff {Pumps /fans} turning on- especially where there is a party wall, it can be a concern. Sound really travels at night.

Looking healthy Shumroom. gorgeous colour green. My only attempt at air pots was a disaster, could stop the feed spilling out the holes, but probably a poor watering regime on my behalf, shouldn't have let them dry out too much between waterings. How are you finding the jiffy pro mix ? Is it the Pro7 coco ?

I hope you’re looking after yourself 

 

 

Finding the Jiffy Pro7 coco to be pretty good so far,

I haven’t had any issues with buffering it,

I just give it a good soak at pot up times.

 

There seems to be quite a lot of long coco fibres(up to 4cm) rather than just the finer bits you get with some types,

so it should be good for reusing a couple of times too.

 

 

The original airpot design,

the ones that lie flat until you make them up with the blue screws and bases seem to encourage the water to flow through the holes.

 

These ones seem a lot better at allowing the water to drain down rather than out.

 

Of course it helps if you don’t let them dry out too much too  

 

 

The plants are really easy to keep happy atm  

 

Feeding every other day while on 18/6 just now in these 7.5l airpots,

so I’m fairly confident that I should get most of(if not all) the way through this run without having to water multiple times per day 

 

 

I did nudge up the power on a couple of the lights the other day  

 

I’m looking forward to using my new light meter(ut383bt) when I adjust the lights for blooming to make sure I’ve got a nice even spread of photons.

the pots look goodand looks like the rootge speaks for itself.

I can't praise the UT383BT enough, took a lot of the worry out of my firdt LED grow.

That’s some wind burn on those leaves in the last photo I think,

there’s no other sign of burnt tips.

 

Feeding at EC 1.8 - 2.0 at around 23C,

pH unmeasured but should be around 5.8 

 

 

Since this is in the Seedstockers section I’ll show you what I bought the other day

 

So expect to see these appearing in a diary near here
