Inkbird probe (Got the spelling correct lol )

Just a quick question gents.

My inkbird is the one with a silver probe,should/could I wrap it in cling film before placing into it's own jiffy or would that mess with it's reliability to get the correct reading,if that's the case then where would the best placement be  ?  (for my cuttings)

Thanks in advance :hippy:

Forget it should've just looked lol

【Temperature Sensor】The temperature probe is waterproof made of food grade material, please rest assured to use in food making such as homebrewing, biltong making.

Was only worried because a probe from my cheapo thermometer degraded when it got wet,key word being cheapo.
