Do any of you add coffee grounds to your soil mix?

What quantities do you add to your soil mix?

The white fungus that appears after a week or so is harmless so I've read  

Also, the grounds i'll be using are decaf.

for indoor...i would not use it.....it makes ph lower.....indoor soils are well balanced imho...

 

for garden and guerilla....i would use it more than 1 month beforeplanting...nature will solve the ph.

 

its organics with good npk...magnesium and copper...

I use them in the garden and top dress potted plants but wouldnt risk my babies with it, maybe Im being an over protective parent

Get a worm bin setup. 

 

Then you can give the coffee grounds and other organic food waste to them.

I only grow autos and chuck all my kitchen scraps and coffee grounds in the beds, as long as you have good humidity and a dark period, it all disappears. Also got a worm bin, which coffee ground are gone in days
