2 Tents 1 Fan

Hi enthusiasts.

I'm wondering if someone has a way to solve a problem for me. Due to space and weight restricitions I've mainly used a blow through system with the fan blowing into the filter which is outside of the grow room. I currently have 6" high power fan blowing into an 8" filter that approx 3 feet tall. I've got a tent that's 60 x 60 x 180 and a tent thats 1m x 1m x 2m , is their a way that I can use 1 fan to clear both tents. I know that with past trials I think the fan cleared the smaller tent but didnt seem to do anything with the larger tent, is a damper of some sort required. I already posses a 6" T piece so that I can run 6" ventilation pipe to the fan from both tents.

I hope that's clear!:bangin:

I'm always thankful for any replies!

Inline filter ideally, and two fans of the same size and speed with equal lengths and diameter of ducting - even a kink in one length of duct will cause back draught.

It can be done, but its way more hassle than its worth. Id be looking at a couple of 4" fans and filters, I imagine that's less weight than what you're currently doing.

I hear you sir! I have a couple of 5" fans and a fan controller, may just try hooking them up to individual filters then.:yep:

Thank you for your help :magic:

I have 2 tents I use a 4" to suck outa my veg tent and into my flower tent then a 5" high power to suck outa that and thru the filter. Works like a dream. There both on a controller at the same speed. That was the only way I could think of doing it as with just the one sucking it wudnt pull enuff thru.
