James new to this
Hi all. Just doing a Wilma run with ph perfect advanced nutrients. My second grow. Made my first mix and the ph is 7.2 I’m using coco. I’ve checked the ph and it’s the same as before the nutes went in at 7.2 do I need to take ph down to 6 myself or just leave it thanks James
Should Know Betterer
Hi man, pH isn't that important with coco, its ec in coco that you should be more concerned with, from what I read anyway, science stuff, it's what's stopping me going full coco instead of a home mixed soil/coco medium, good luck

Alright there, It should do exactly what it says on the tin, so if I were you I would leave it alone. Take it easy. Jj

Kush Lover
What are the reasons behind not PH’ing in coco? I don’t either but that’s because I’ve watered so many times I know what ratio of cold and hot water gets me to 6ph. I do play around with it a bit so it’s not the same PH every time but seems to work for me.
catweazle1
@Kush Lover If your nutes bring the pH in range, there's no need to pH. Familiarity and practice, knowing what works for you, removes the need to constantly monitor.

That's what I have found with my routine and its changed my life to be honest as it just reduces the fannying about and streamlines the whole watering everyday process.
