Slippy One
Get yourself some Canna mono mg. Cal:mag ratio should be 3:1, that report says 10:1. For dosing, our resident cal:mag guru, @Oldbearcan calculate how much mg/l you'll need.

Many here use Growers Ark soft water with good results Edited May 26, 2022 by Oldbear Detail

My cal mag ratio is 8:1 It's pretty straight forward, Every bottle of mono magnesium is 7% This equates to 7ppm per 0.1ml Every 1ml = 70ppm If you know the amounts in your tap water you can amend it quite simply. Hope this helps
RUFUS HOUND
thanks @Oldbear, I kept on getting mg deficiency and was using epsom salts to counter - didnt think the mg ca ratio would be that far out does the Calcium Carbonate 122.23 mg/l come into play or not ? GSZZ
Just now, Oldbear said: Every bottle of mono magnesium is 7% This equates to 7ppm per 0.1ml Not entirely, you have to account for the oxygen weight. So its 7 x 0.6031 = 4.22% @ 0.1ml/l

RUFUS HOUND
@qualitynotquantitylstart off by finding out whats in your water from your water company's website - calcium and magnesium % you can then find out what you need - cal to mg ratio should be approx 3 to 1, mine was 10:1 so well short of mg Edited September 19, 2022 by RUFUS HOUND
