I've been slacking with updates these last 2 weeks, been really busy then I got a weird illness on sunday.

anyway I dragged my self to the plot on Wednesday morning

All the girls seem to be doing ok some better than others,1 or 2 have had some mouse/rat damage trying to dig under the roots to get to the Fbb

did the usual weed/ vegetation clearing & took some water down

Fed the girls some nettle tea and laid some more pellets

Gave them all a good thorough soaking of my horse tail tea

I hope the smell doesn't attract more critters

I didn't get no pics again bcoz I was feeling rough as fuck,

And wanted to get the he'll out of dodge before sunrise

At least the girls were watered and fed

will have some proper pics and more updates very soon

With the coming heatwave will have to be on it this weekend stockpilling up on water at my site

happy growing and Good luck to you all

I set off to my plot at 3.00am yesterday morning (weds) to see how the girls were coping with the heat, they were all fine apart from bug damage *leafhoppers/capsids

And some critters been have rooting round the base of 3 of them

all were well watered/ fed with nettle tea , I chopped down some surrounding vegetation ,nearly 8 foot tall wild lillys on the banking that we're towering over. Come to think of it it might be the infamous red Lily beetle what's chomping on my ladies?? I know lilys are of the canna genus of plants, but I'm not sure if they would jump to a total different plant??

I'm thinking of either putting some mesh on the ground around base of each plant, to stop the burrowers what ever they are?? Most likely rats?

Or do I fence off and enclose each little area and use tent pegs into the ground??

There's 8 plants in total at this spot>

•5 Durban Dew

•3 Think Fast

my plan was to try 1 of each strain at a different spot but I messed up and ended up planting 2 ThinkFast instead

both are doing good I went and fed/watered them on sunday

I will be adding some pics in next few days

From what I can see they are all looking fine especially considering the heat. Top job pal… well apart from the stealth photos lol

A Quick update and pictures from last week

taken on 26th July

generally all the ladies are you growing well

Some are growing at a quicker pace than others

unfortunately there still getting attention from the leafhoppers/capsids but I happy to report no slug damage yet!so far so good

2 of the Durban Dew are really cracking on 1 is nearly 1.4 m

Also I noticed there was an obvious polyploid in the surrounding vegetation so I added a few pics but I was in rush to leave so not the best

Good luck you to all and happy growing

The last 3 pics are the polyploid plant/weed I mentioned above,

I forgot to take a pic of the normal plant for comparison, which had a very thin stalk like top.

Be nice if it were some weird environmental condition that brought it on

And I it happens to effect one of the ladies??

Very wishful thinking I know ?

lol Wishful thinking indeed!

And to be honest, most plants that I have seen during my life express this weren't exactly producing anything good, besides a freakshow to look at...

Maybe if you stabilize the traits in a lab something is possible, yield wise etc.

Good to see some pictures in daylight mate :yep: At least we see some more of the plants now, they are doing quite well, hopefully they come a bit bigger the next few weeks before flowering has fully kicked in.

Keep it up! :smokin:
