Celia bx1

@Happydayz They're out of stock I'm afraid mate and I won't be making them again so as to usher in the bx2, but that won't be for a while yet either. I'm testing two vars right now, Geysers of Triton (SSH x Lot5evolution) and Tribute (Celia x Lot5evolution) which all being well will be due to drop early next year which I hope will tide people over until the bx2!

Ah bugger! That’s okay mate, I certainly missed out on them.. looked very nice indeed!
I’ll be on more for sure so will keep my eyes peeled for the next release due early next year. And will certainly wait patiently for the bx2!

many thanks

Couple of Celias I've grown recently. Both where the tall pheno. One with rectangular shaped buds, the other more spear like. Rectangular buds were a bit mustier and smelled more threatening and yielded 190g in a. 7.5l pot!!! Spear liked one was a different grow and didn't have as much space but yielded 110g in a 7.5l.

Both have what I describe as mustiness but there's more going on but I struggle to describe what it is. Musty, floral, freshly laid carpet mixed in with alien sweat of some kind.

It smokes really smooth in a neat one and has flavour on the exhale.

I've been trying to work out if one is stronger than the other but they both leave me well battered when sampling first thing in the morning. Nice floaty high that ticks all the boxes.

Optical illusion going on in last pic.

Lovely smoke:skin_up:

Really looking forward to the lot5 cross now.

Looking ace @bushdoc I'm buzzing how much you're loving the bx1! I always found the longer ladies a little bit pokier than the others, but the high is consistent across the board, I've likened it in the past to the same song performed on different instruments!!

It'll be worth the wait :) I was hoping (naively) to have them both finished at the same time but that isn't going to happen lol

Heres a few shots to wet the whistle for the mean time:

I didn't finish the Celia diary I started, something came up and I barely had enough time to water them let alone photo them etc. But I still got a great result and I'm still enjoying smoking it now. I'll definitely be buying both the new varieties.

How are these new crosses coming along?

They're coming along nicely mate, taking me a little longer than anticipated. Honestly, they're ace as they are, but theres too much variation in finishing times in both lines for most people to be able to accommodate that kind of staggered harvest, so I've been testing 1:1 full sib matings to align the finishing times within a week of each other, so give or take half a week, the end grower can bring a harvest down altogether.

I am pretty much there, tbh, all the crosses have been done and the testing is just drawing to a close now although its clear which combinations are giving me what I want, so its just a case of reproducing the crosses to bulk up the seed numbers.

I appreciate everyones patience, but i'd sooner wait to let something go and do the best job I can to make the best end product that not only meets my requirements from what I want the cross to do or represent, but also meet the requirements of the end grower, and not just smash other peoples work together, call it something new and send it out untested for a premium like most do.

@GSZZYou can't rush art but you can rush bullshittery.

I'm sure anyone who tried the celia bx1 will patiently wait on these, I know I will.

As I'm sure most are, I'll be eagerly awaiting the goods, mr @GSZZ.

I'm actually running my Celia keeper from cut for the first time now, can't wait!

Can't wait, what sort of range are we talking about? I still think about one Celiabx in particular I had. It was a sad day when that jar was empty.

In terms of releases, both will drop this year with the ssh x lot5evo coming first. I wouldn't like to put a date on it exactly, cos you never know what might happen in the mean time - for example I need my boiler replacing, which means I have to draw everything to a close in the next month or so.

In terms of flowering times, both lines will be in the 11 - 12 week range.
