indicaxsativa
V.2 of the control panel I am adapting as I go. The power meter with the blue display has made keeping an eye on useage simpler with the 50% hike due in a month or so. indicaxsativa
Need to tidy up the cabling a bit in the lower box as I'll be adding another contactor or two for the fans. The Arduino / Pi will be in the top box on dinrail mounts and use a ribbon cable so that a touchscreen can be mounted into the lid. Opto isolators to separate the AC in the lower box. Then I can monitor everything remotely. I make a plan God laughs ...

indicaxsativa
Spotted this on a carboot stall. From what I have gathered its called Randa. Connects via Gpio on a Rpi3. Hoping to get it to work on Rpi4. Pins are the same but might be some hardware / os things need to understand first. But it will be controlling pumps, light and temperature soon hopefully.
indicaxsativa
For anyone interested in this Arduino based hat for the Pi here is a link. Not sure if these are still produced but might be lucky and find one some place. https://www.open-electronics.org/randa-merging-raspberry-pi-and-arduino/
indicaxsativa
It seems the Gpio pins are level shifted within the Randa board which is handy. Obviously some functions like the rtc and switches to power up down/reset both boards independently of each other may not work on the Pi4 but its going to be fun finding out.
