Decent prog timer

Recommended Posts

Folks,

Yet another cheap (£12) prog timer has crapped out on me. Fed up with buying shit so after recommendations

It's to run a small tank pump, probably 50w so not a high load. Must be able to prog multiple on/off times in minute increments (so no mechanical timers).

I'm happy to pay money for a pro version as I've probably thrown 3 or 4 of these away. Something with a proper warranty would be good.

They seem to reset randomly and wipe all my settings.

Anyone got any thoughts.

maxibright four gangs serve me very well and have lasted for well over 10 years

Any that are not mechanical with 15 m intervals as all I've seen are the clock timer affair....

I'm looking to prog 1 min intervals.

Nice.  If I can find an EU version could be the one. Cheers..

This wont be the cheapest option but its a decent piece of kit

IWS Dripper Minute/Second Timer - its about £99 but is really well built, my mate has been running one for 2 years with no problems

I have the cheaper option which isn't quite as good but still does the job

RhizoSystem Timer - You use a normal mechanical timer as well with it but which are cheap to pick up, the Rhizosystem Timer is around £55

If you google both of these they should show up for you

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have ordered a gse 8 dripper trimmer. You set the interval (every 4 hours) and duration (1 min) for night and/or day and that's it. No setting for timer clock, etc. Seems simple...

@Military Grade Can you give me some colour on the interval timings? Is it perfect for hydro flood drain type stuff too? Setting multiple on-offs etc.

Its down to the minute, so you could have loads of timers on and off for ever minute of the day 7 days a week.

I had multiple on their light bulb so the bedroom would gradually get brighter as it gets closer to Lights on in the tent.
