Mirid/capsid damage?

Morning folks.

So what do we have here?

large.received_804665337593970.jpeg

On my rounds last night I noticed a couple of bits of chewed and distorted leaf.

I reckon it's straight up plant bugs , can't find anything though despite my staring at them for ages.

Just looking for second opinions really , also any tips or advice you guys have on dealing with and minimising these little gits, I assume a dose of mectin would clear any lingering capsid , if it is indeed them.

Thanks in advance.

i get that very occasionally, and it's always very minimal, maybe keep an eye but i wouldn't worry about it

i don't think it's capsid, not indoors and mectin won't do it anyway

Not likely capsid but possible if the damage was done while the leaf was forming.  I'd be looking for a caterpillar or a slug perhaps/ be more concerned about the faint dots indicative of either early mites most likely. Hard to see on phone

@blackpoolbouncer I see the dots , I'll go have a proper look I think.

Bollocks to going through that fiasco again.

@ratdog I wouldn't be surprised if it was something miridae in my house , we've got 4 decidedly free range dickhead cats and I'm forever around outdoor plants so I'm not ruling it out.

Cheers guys , I appreciate your help.

ETA: BPB well spotted bro , got the loupe out and there were three tetranychus nymphs on that particular leaf.

I've applied a liberal dose of harkers to the entire small tent :thumbdown:
