Strawberry cookies (test seeds)

Thank you @SuperSativaSeedClub - David and the team for the seeds to test for you!
We received a 25 pack of strawberry cookies a few weeks ago. With our first grow pretty much over with, we couldn’t pass on this opportunity. We started to germinate seven of them (didn’t want to put all our eggs in to one basket lol) using the damp paper towel method. Today we have some showing the tap root and some not. They all went it to small pots, filled half way with buffered coco and put in to our new veg tent. Where they’ll be until the flower tent is ready for them! They will have some company, but that’s for another diary. We will be going a head with this grow, nearly the same way we went with the first one, only difference is we won’t be doing hempy buckets and will be potting up, with the final pots being 4l. They’ll start life under a 200w Attis, dimmed down to around 40-50w. Nutrients will be vitalink a and b for soft water and some mono mag, when we get round to ordering it! The fun bit will hopefully start very soon!!

Morning everyone.

So seven of these seeds was germinated, they went in to coco even if the tap roots wasn’t showing. A week later we have seven, healthy looking girls! The temps have been steady, high on some occasions, 26 lights off 33 lights on. They do seem to be loving the heat and light, so not really much of a concern. We’ve had to put the pc fan over the vent, behind that vent is a small oil filled radiator, that’s helping us to pull warm fresh air in. They’ll soon be in the flowering tent, under a scopeX 350. Probably will pot up over the weekend, set the timers in the flower tent back to 18/6. Where they will have more room, more light and better environment all round! Feed has been 1ml of plant start to 2L of water, ph’ed to around 6.0 being fed twice a day. Today they’ve had 1ml of a and b, ph’ed to around 6.0.

  • 2 weeks later...

Morning all, sorry for the lack of updates! So about a week ago we decided to pot up, unfortunately we lost one in the process! The temps. haven’t been ideal, lows of 18’c. They have been on a feed of 2ml of a and b to 2L of water, ph’ed around 6.0. They’re a slight pale green, but that’s down to the low temps. They didn’t look as good as what they do now, a few days ago! Probably could do with being potted up again, will have to wait as we have a new tent on order. And the old one isn’t worth the hassle of putting it up lol
