indicaxsativa
I read somewhere in the UK press an article that was basically saying that this particular medical cannabis would not impair a drivers ability. I wish I had copied the link now. However I have always assumed any prescribed drug that can cause drowsiness will automatically get You a drug/drink conviction. Even on a pushbike. !! Newcouch
my medicical cannabis defintely impairs my ability to use machinery at higher doses. i only use it in the evening and after all possibility of driving for the day has past. yes, driving with any drug in your system that says; 'may cause drowsiness, if it does, dont drive', will result in a convistion if you get caught impaired. Oddly, some of us. myself included, have istruictions that only if drowsy a day later, so theoretically, drowsy immediately is ok according to the prescription - but dont try it.
Kush Lover
You can but its illegal as hell! Just like any substance that has the ability to impair you whilst operating heavy machinery. I think I have read somewhere (sounds promising) that if you have a prescription then you can challenge them that its in your system and but not impairing your driving. Chances are most of us would still get pulled up on this as it would be quite blatant how much we have in our system. Your ability to drive is another thing, I remember getting a friend to stop after a smoke as he said that driving stoned was like being in a computer game and the he can only see the road in 5 metre sections!!! We stopped him for the sake of other road users!

AnonyMice
Amazing. Did not know people were being prescribed thc as a treatment. Are you able to choose strenghth etc.?
Newcouch
generally it is decided with your specialist, whether balanced flowers, thc heavy flowers, cbd oils etc and regularity. so i am on cbd oil x2 a day and thc flower in the evening. it appears that many patients have the ability to pick and choose what they want from the whole shopping list. I am not sure how that works, although it seems ok that if you are prescribed a maximum strength and dossage of thc a day, if you wish to try lesser thc mixes then that seems fair. 3 month consultations are virtually mandatory in alomost every clinic so there is regular opportunity to change strength etc, but often it seems to be done on availability.
