The battle between good & evil.

Hello folks,

First off a big thanks to @Seedstockers-Mark for the seeds and the comp, good luck to all involved. :lucky:  Some hefty competition already it seems!
Finally making a start on this diary after popping the seeds 25 days ago. The other half wanted in on the action too so we have a little comp within a comp going on here, Although after putting her seed in the jiffy and customising her pot it’s now my responsibility to keep it alive it seems. She just wants picture proof that hers is still looking better than mine every now and again.
 Anyways…..

Medium - coco (canna pro+)
Nutes - Canna (A&B, rhizo) , enzymes weekly (ATA).
Light - 300w CFL, 600w hps

Tent - 2.4 x 1.2 x 2m (h)

Mcbudz - chicken and mushroom

Mrs Mcbudz - sticky rib

Here they are not long after sprouting.

And here they are last Sunday. First night in the freshly vacated big tent.

As you can imagine, herself was over the moon at this. See’s it as a sign of things to come for me, I hit her with a hard FO and tried to fix the flop. I think I have rectified the matter.

I plan to get blumats involved but I have not got around to it yet. Lots of big ideas and no time or space to execute the majority of them.

Until next time.

May the battle sway in my favour :)
thanks for reading

Day 8 12/12

After 35 day veg, now feeding 1.3EC. My one looking a bit peeky. Luckily she’s no seen it and seems to have forgotten all about it, chaos with Xmas n that. I’m hoping my ugly mottled duckling will blow her away in bloom.

Only one contender remains. Chicken and mushroom threw out some sacks so it’s worm food. The armchair gardener herself near fucking exploded wi joy.

I think it probably hermied from stress from drying out too many times, never did get around to setting those Blumats up.
Swelling up a treat now though and probably one of the biggest top in here. I have been OTT checking it over for a sudden gender swap.
Smells excellent, really aptly named.   large.DF3FE767-923E-4F37-9386-5B22CEF37359.jpeglarge.B0D43B08-198E-4FFD-A41F-9175D88AAF15.jpeglarge.557DFDA8-1104-4DFB-A72E-F2EF196A6049.jpeglarge.B101D7DE-A77D-43BA-A3FB-A5CA39BF0780.jpeglarge.9ADE5079-B72B-4A8E-BF93-2D8CAF98B93E.jpeg

@Baron von greenback this is the smallest pot I have flowered in. I expected much more issues than I have had. I flipped them to 12/12 really early and all lower growth removed and left with just 1 main cola to focus on.

When Mrs.Mcbudz customised this pot she wanted it to be like an airpot, I think she has put enough holes in to air prune itself lol

@Baron von greenback this is a guess … the roots develop during the vegetative period and 2/3 weeks into flower and then they concentrate on developing flowers. Because they’re flowered once rooted out well in the smaller pots they don’t get the opportunity or desire to outgrow their shoes so to speak. That’s a very basic explanation and may well be wrong. But that’s my guess.

Top job @Mcbudz those flowers look yummy :)
