Just got done pulling a few dead leaves in the tent, when I sat down on the sofa I noticed this little guy on my arm, a wee little caterpillar.

Is he one of those bud munchers? Should I be worried?

Looks like a beetle larvae of some kind dude , if it's not got an orange head you can rule out vine weevil.

Superficially it looks like it could be a carpet beetle , if in doubt smoosh it though.

@Thai Stick I wish I had, but unfortunately my monkey brain kicked on an I ruthlessly murdered it, poor little thing.

@BilgePump I'm quite amazed how many different species are actually living in there at the moment lol mostly beneficial though. It's head was a bit orange and now I've googled vine weevil I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I've got nematodes and predator mites, so hopefully it doesn't become an infestation.

@MindSoup sounds like full monkey brain was the way forward in that case.

Vine weevil are shitbags , found a load at work on Tuesday chewing on the roots of new Guinea impatiens , took great pleasure in mashing them into the floor.

Yeah I'm definitely gunna be keeping a close eye, if there are larvae then there have been adults in there a wee while. Might order some more nematodes just to give the population a boost.
