ordered my first rosin press.

I have ordered a rosin press, I have absolutely no idea who/what/when/how, only from watching YouTube videos.

I have a few questions if you don't mind.

What is a good temperature to use?

What do you call the stainless steel tool that scrapes rosin off the paper?

What is the paper called? So I can order some?

Sorry about the daft questions, but I have to start somewhere, lol

For flower/bud hover around the 220° F mark for about 60-90 secs and adjust (lower temps/shorter press time) to suit your personal preference.

For hash or dry sift/kief about 170-190°F.

A Stanley knife blade or flat spatula.

Thanks bartman, I have ordered the rosin press kp-1, I'll start off playing with some sugar trim & then move onto some buds.

It works, it's just to messy, that stuffs sticky & get every where, so it's now a paperweight in its box.

I've seen the presses fairly cheap these days im tempted by one myself but ive been worried about the build quality. Good to hear yours worked even if you don't use it now

I am thinking about investing in a rosin press soon, are the ones for the 300 - 400 price point worth while ? I will just be running percy amounts

I picked up a 2nd hand KP-4 the other day (gumtree bargain - guy said the dame thing, can't handle the sticky mess!).   I'm about 4 weeks out from having some bud ready but I'll be giving it a good go and let you know how it is

I still use my LTQ Vapor KP-1

Their collection tool is very good and their bags are ok too

For the money I think the Graveda presses with the pressure gauge are probably the best value in the EU atm
