treebeard2
Anyone remember the fad for vertical growing with the kweeketel and another big plastic unit, looked like a giant round bin with two vertical lights in it? Almost spent an awful lot of money on one, it was new and shiny and i LOVE new kit. But other things got in the way and I never got round to it. Anyone actually use one? Guessing by the fact they don't seem to be around still that they were shite
zen-ken
A member used to do really good vertically trained grows round a HPS....his name escapes me now. A well known hydro store still sells very expensive vertical systems....the principal of increasing the surface growing area is sound...The idea of an LED version has been bouncing around in my head for a while. Yeah man, Zz did quite a few vert grows, used hps tho, that’s how long ago it was. Pretty sure there are a few diary’s about the boards somewhere. Take it easy. Arthur Mix
One of the issues with them is the plant count to fill them properly, good in legal places maybe

NezA
I had a little dabble with vertical scrogs after being inspired by @zztopbudz You can have a look at how I got on in my Twisted Biscuits Diary I will perfect it at some point. But what I will say is, in a small footprint, once you get the technique down it's definitely the way forwards. I had my biggest yields from my space using that method and there's a lot of room for improvement. A method that's well worth exploring for those in small spaces IMO. Like a mobile phone antenna, minus the Covid, could mount them on a bit of white downpipe (£6'ish for 2.5m),there must be a cheaper way to source the light bars, proof of concept before splashing out the best part of a grand
