There are a lot of soil amendments out there and different super soil recipes but what is the best organic super soil recipe for the UK climate?

I’d have thought ecothrive would be the best.

They do look quite good.  I'll investigate into them further. Thanks

far from it. making your own is "the best" and by far the cheapest:yep:

Has anyone seen the UK420 soil amendment kit on eBay. Is that actually official and sold by the site.

just search uk420 on eBay and they’ll come up.

Nah mate. Not unless you like paying a lot of money for council green waste compost.

As buddy said. Making your own is the best.

To the op, when you say it's for outdoors presumably you mean for in containers not in the ground?

30%, biochar

30% ewc

40% compost

Is a good base mix but it really depends what your after and what resources you have and what ammendments you wanna add.

I can't comment on its effectiveness but I'm currently cooking some soil with the stuff from 'Livingsoils', they provide a guide for both photos and autos. I think it's based loosely on Coot's Mix and it's not that pricey either.
